Niagara County Central School Districts Updated Bus Fleet

Superintendent James B Derrylson said in a statement to a press release that the district’s budget allocated funding for 120 brand new school buses. Alone with the private in house funding that the district gets from Frank Derrylson’s Life Insurance Policy. The district has also purchased some new district transportation services buses along with 2.5 billion dollars they get in private in house funding.

“We’re very excited to be getting brand new school buses which are the top of their class. Each bus will be equipped with 3 high resolution cameras for student and bus driver safety, as well as school bus trackers, which parents can use to be notified when their child/children get home.” Said board of education President Jack Connors.

He also told us that some other features each school bus will use is a facial recognition system to determine who rides what bus in the morning and afternoon.
“ It’s all about the high tech safety features these days.” Connors added.

These buses are expected to be delivered by June 2020.
