Niagara County High School To Be Certified As A New High School

Exciting news by the Niagara County Central School District this evening. As we reported back in April of 2018, the Niagara County Central School District approved the plans to start construction on the $12.5 Million dollar district project. Reports say that  Niagara County High School was completed officially on August 19, 2018 at approximately 12:00 PM. The district will be having a ribbon cutting on Friday morning at 9 AM.

The district Superintendent James B. Derrylson made an official statement about the district borders and what area the new school will serve earlier today during a pre-year meeting with faculty and staff.

"The district has yet to decide what area the Niagara County High School will serve, but on August 24, 2018 a board of education meeting and public board of education hearing will be held at the district offices in North Tonawanda, New York."

The district has not made an official statement since we spoke to them earlier. We will be following this story and let you know as we receive updates.
