Rightsworth University's Dean Of Schools Passes A New Bill That Will Allow The University To Search Student Lockers W/O A Warrant

Late this afternoon Rightsworth University Dean Of Students Jessy Bunnell, signed a new bill that will allow the University to search ANY student locker with out a warrant, in order to solve cases. The university must have a valid reason to search the locker. Many parents say that this is a violation of the right to privacy. Many other parents say that is a great idea, and will allow justice to be served to the accused. The dean said "Because of the recent shooting that occurred a week ago, these new regulations will allow the university's security/police to search any student's locker that is assumed to be housing drugs,weapons or counterfeit money. This will also ensure the safety of students. We also will be holding daily locker checks."

Parents said  "this is absolutely ridiculous and look forward to seeing the university in court."

One parent said "The university is completely ripping the rights from the COLLEGE students."

We spoke to one parent who agreed with the new bill. "This bill will keep your child safe. If you have such a big problem with it, than enroll your child somewhere else. I don't see why parents have to open their mouths when the Dean of Students is trying to protect their child from harm."

We also spoke to the university's legal council and they had this to say.

"I think what the Dean of Students did an absolutely amazing job with his recent accomplishment. He only thinks about his student's safety, even when he worked as Superintendent of Schools at the Niagara County Central School District. He is selfless and only wants the best for his students. He only makes decisions based on the best interests of his students. I see absolutely nothing wrong with what he did."

Supporting parents of the new bill said that the Dean of Students is making the best choice for the university. The old dean of students didn't make the necessary changes that were needed. No one complained when he didn't make changes. Now that the new  Dean of Students makes safety changes everyone thinks it's the worst thing in the world. Make up your mind people. I 100% back the Dean up and will continue to support the bill."

As for the opposing claims to the new bill, support for the new bill has never been so strong. Parents have even posted things on Facebook like- "Support the Rightsworth University's Dean of Schools in his push to create a safer campus. We do not want another Columbine shooting with our kids lives at stake." Another parent posted this tweet on twitter- "#supportthebillofchange #RightsworthUniversity2018." Parents even printed shirts.
